Alnico Permanent Magnetism is a permanent magnet which is made from an alloy of aluminum, nickel and cobalt and is one of the strongest permanent magnets available. Alnico 5 and Alnico 8 are the two grades of Alnico magnets normally used. They have excellent temperature stability and can be used in applications where temperatures exceed 550℃.
